Head of Healthwatch - Neil Bolton-Heaton

Neil is the Head of Healthwatch and holds responsibility for Healthwatch organisations.

Neil has worked across the health, social care and social enterprise sectors at both operational and strategic level. Neil is passionate about quality service experience and in ensuring voice and representation in the design, development and delivery of health and social care services.

Joanna Dixon - East Berkshire Manager

Jo joined Healthwatch in 2019 and is passionate about ensuring voices from a variety of communities are heard and listened to in health and social care.

She has a background in maternity and parent education.

Nicholas Durman - Deputy Manager East Berkshire & Healthwatch Bracknell Forest Officer

Nick's varied career has taken him from being a soldier with the British Army for 7 years, to many years in I.T. including 10 years as front line service manager for customer services and service improvement. Nick wanted to make a difference in people's life so he’s worked with learning disabled adults and Healthwatch.

Shahanaz Uddin - Healthwatch Slough Officer and Communication Lead  

Shahanaz has had a variety of roles, including working in a primary school setting supporting children who have English as an additional language.

Her most rewarding role was working in a South Asian Domestic Abuse service, her main role and ethos is to support and empower and give the seldom heard a voice. She has joined our team from Healthwatch Reading where she worked as Healthwatch Officer.

Ann Brosnan - Healthwatch East Berkshire Volunteering and Enter and View Lead

Ann began her career in marketing before moving into coaching and training. She then used her skills working in a residential college for teenagers with disabilities, followed by being an unpaid carer for her mother. During lockdown Ann began working with people who have complex care needs.
